Attorney Nelson Tyrone of the Tyrone Law Firm recently spoke at GTLA’s annual Auto Torts seminar, which was held this year July 26 – 28 at the Marriott Resort and Spa in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Mr. Tyrone spoke on “Loss of Consortium – How Focus Groups Taught Me the Value of Family“.
Mr. Tyrone recently won a $2 million dollar verdict for Loss of Consortium in a needle-stick case in Fulton County, Georgia.
Nelson was named a Georgia Super Lawyer for 2012 in the practice are of Personal Injury. He is a member of the board and teaching staff of the Trial Lawyer’s College founded by attorney Gerry Spence in Dubois, Wyoming.
He is also active in the Atlanta Community, serving on the board of Covenant Community, which is a residential drug and alcohol treatment program on the campus of All Saint’s Episcopal Church. He represents the men of Covenant Community pro-bono while they are residents of the program. Nelson is also a member of St. Mark’s Breakfast Club since 2007, preparing breakfast once a month for homeless men.
