Nelson Tyrone Jumped From A Perfectly Good Air Plane

Here at the Tyrone Law Firm, we do all we can to provide resources and support to families of children with special needs, like cerebral palsy. In fact, we have dedicated member of our staff who have had to navigate the system on their own. We hope our posts can bring new resources to those who may need them.

Nelson Tyrone has gone above and beyond on several occasions to show support of his clients. This time, he went way above, like 15,000 feet above. On May 13th, he participated in a fundraiser for Extra Special People, Inc. (ESP), called “Big Jump.” Nelson raised over $4000.00 thanks to the support of friends, family and colleagues. Collectively, Big Jump raised over $100,000.00 to help send special needs children and young adults to summer camp at ESP.

Through ESP, children and young adults of all abilities are able to experience things that otherwise, they may never get the chance to experience, friendships are made and goals are achieved. These children and young adults really look forward to summer camp. Through fundraisers, summer camp fees are reduced, making it possible for more campers to attend.

ESP’s summer camp is an 8 week camp with different opportunities, like over night camp at Ft. Yargo, filed trips and day camp. They serve over 90 families in the community, have 55 staff members and 45 volunteers a week. There is never a dull moment at ESP. In all, they serve over 300 families.

We are very thankful to those who supported Nelson in this event. Your generosity will go a long way and help families send their child(ren) to a summer camp they will never forget.
