Forensic Nurse Consultant at Tyrone Law Firm
Todd's legal consulting began with working for a national legend in malpractice law and, over the last 15 years, has resulted in over 1000 cases reviewed for merit, participation in just over 100 trials, and consulting on gross recoveries that exceed $900 million in 2017. He continues to consult in pure litigation scenarios with Georgia's best attorneys and some of the country's best physicians of all specialties. Todd has worked with expert physicians in all specialties from Stanford to Harvard, to ensure each case has the highest qualified spokesperson to represent the case when trial comes. He has 15 years' experience working hand in hand with attorneys to ensure that the medicine is put into a presentation that a jury can understand. Todd is known for establishing close relationships with his clients and their families while learning their needs and ensuring that every possible option is being taken to get healthier.
For the better part of the last decade, Todd has provided medical care in multiple places of need all over the world. He has been to Romania, Hungary, the Dominican Republic and Carfoure, Haiti multiple times over the last few years. Days after the hurricane hit in 2016, Todd and a nurse friend of his from DC went to Haiti and saw 1326 patients in 5 days.
Todd learned medicine from several legends in the "Glory" days of the Grady Memorial hallways in EMS, the ECC, SEC, MEC, Burns and MICU. He was also fortunate enough to learn pediatric specific transport and acute/critical care in the hallways of Egleston from equally glorious legends, before the merger into what is now CHOA.
Todd lives with his wife and three daughters in West Cobb. They were a founding family in a what is now a large West Cobb church. Sydney, the oldest, goes to KSU and is a local missionary for a group that is providing an orphanage in Ethiopia for 200 children. Grace and Georgia attend high school in West Cobb. Todd road races motorcycles in his spare time, which isn't much - and might explain why he likes to drive 170mph.
"We have a son with a birth injury and reached out to the Tyrone Law Firm for representation. We have had nothing but the most productive and informative meetings/talks/phone conversations with them from the start. We truly feel that they are fighting for us...for OUR SON...and they are doing this because they believe in justice for OUR SON."
