Paralegal at Tyrone Law Firm of Atlanta, GA
Melissa is the mother of 5 beautiful children: Kailey Lynn, Nickolas, Hunter, Lillian and Lona Mae. After experiencing a birth trauma of her own and going through trial, she made it her goal in life to help other families who have experienced the same type of trauma.
Melissa attended college at Athens Technical College, where she graduated with an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies. Melissa was the President of the student Paralegal Association for two years.
Melissa began her career working for Mitchell & Crunk in Winder, but wanted to use her everyday experience of raising her special needs daughter, Kailey Lynn, and her education to help families with resources and through the trial process. She plans to continue her education next spring and work toward her Bachelor's Degree in the Paralegal Studies program at The University of North Georgia.
Melissa and her family are very active in the community, speaking at events to promote awareness and inclusion of special needs children, participating in events and helping other families find resources when needed. They are members of Bethlehem Church and serve often.
"We have a son with a birth injury and reached out to the Tyrone Law Firm for representation. We have had nothing but the most productive and informative meetings/talks/phone conversations with them from the start. We truly feel that they are fighting for us...for OUR SON...and they are doing this because they believe in justice for OUR SON."
